1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Dopa mobile application or website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

Dopa is a writing tool designed to facilitate "flow state" through sensory feedback, typewriter sounds, and gamification elements. Dopa is primarily a drafting tool.

3. User Ownership & Responsibility

You retain all rights to the content you create within Dopa. We do not claim ownership over your words. You are solely responsible for the content you write and for maintaining your own backups. Dopa is not responsible for any loss of data due to app deletion, device failure, or software bugs.

4. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Dopa mobile application and website, including but not limited to software, code, designs, logos, and typewriter sound effects, are owned by us or our licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the app for personal writing purposes. You may not copy, modify, or reverse engineer any part of the app.

5. Payments, Pricing & Refunds

a. Processing: All financial transactions, including in-app purchases and subscriptions, are processed exclusively through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Dopa does not collect or store your credit card or billing information.

b. Pricing: We reserve the right to adjust the pricing for any paid features or subscriptions at any time. Any price changes will be communicated through the App Store or within the app.

c. Refunds: Refund requests are subject to the policies of the respective App Store. You must contact Apple or Google directly to request a refund.

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use Dopa for any unlawful purposes or to engage in any activity that interferes with the app's performance or security.

7. Limitation of Liability

DOPA IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF THE APP.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Since we do not have your contact information, any updates to the Terms of Service will be communicated through notifications within the Dopa app. Your continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Taiwan (Republic of China). You agree that any dispute arising from or relating to the subject matter of these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Taiwan.
